Provides training to residential consumers in the activities of daily living skills and on an individual and small group basis. Implements individual goals and services recommended by the treatment team, according to methods, time frames, outlined by Residential Habilitation Plans. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain a residential environment that promotes the well being of residents and the protection of their individuals rights, while ensuring individualized services. Remains awake and on duty throughout the night.
High school diploma or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience. Will be required to obtain and maintain Medication Certification.
Conditions of employment include obtaining CPR, First Aid and SCIP certification.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Charged with the timely pick up and delivery of Abbey Industries, Eberhardt Center, Recreation and contract services passengers, assuring their safety and providing the necessary supervision and direction to ensure this. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain and protect the individual rights of passengers. Promotes and maintains positive and professional communication.
High school diploma or equivalent, and over one year applicable experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. No moving violations for 12 months prior to hire. Valid NYS Commercial Drivers License C with Passenger Endorsement or willing to acquire within thirty (30) days of hire. Must be Department of Motor Vehicles 19‑A certifiable. Must participate in mandatory drug and alcohol testing program.
Provides habilitation support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, generally on a small group or one-to-one basis in a variety of settings. Provides training opportunities designed to enhance each person’s self-sufficiency in the areas of personal independence, community integration and productivity. Promotes agency mission, vision and values.
H.S. Diploma and up to one (1) year relevant experience or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience. Reliable means of transportation and safe driving record.
Provides technical training and support to staff and individuals served at Ontario ARC. Serves as point person regarding implementation training for new software and cloud based services. Provides assistance in data collection and analysis methods and creates documentation and electronic resources to assist users.
Associates Degree preferred with at least two (2) years of experience providing technical training and support to small-to-medium sized companies, as well as experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
Will be required to obtain experience in several agency software applications including Relias Learning, Therap Services, Choices, and Microsoft Sharepoint. Experience with client server networks, Internet and electronic mail experience a plus.
Performs a variety of administrative and secretarial duties as required for the Senior Associate Executive Director and Program Manager, and the various staff and consultants of the Day Habilitation Program and other habilitative services in a confidential manner. Promotes positive and professional communications and effective working relationships among program and agency staff, other service providers, families and general public.
A.A.S. Degree with a major in business/secretarial science and three (3) years secretarial experience, or equivalent combination. Must have demonstrated typing proficiency of at least 50 wpm and experience with word processors/personal computers. Must present a neat appearance and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Reconciles and analyzes various financial information for accuracy, consistency, and reasonableness.
Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the payroll database and wage allocations to programs.
Responsible for small subsidiary’s general ledger, annual budget and is contact for audit.
Analyze financial data such as actual vs. budgets, trends, and performs basic analysis.
Responsible for 401k administration including coordination of annual 401k audit.
Assist in the development of the agency budget.
Work with all departmental staff to ensure that Finance Department goals are met.
Special projects and other duties as requested.
- Minimum requirements for the Accounting Financial Analyst position include an equivalent of a bachelor's degree in accounting or business with a minimum of three years of experience in the accounting field.
- Strengths in analysis, problem solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Possesses high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet assigned deadlines.
- Strong aptitude in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using accounting software – Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.
Responsible for direct supervision of program participants working at group placement sites. Provide training, positive role model and direction to insure assigned contracts are completed in a timely fashion with emphasis on quality control and safety.
High school diploma and one (1) year relevant work experience or an equivalent amount of education/experience.
Successful completion and maintenance of agency-sponsored CPR/1st Aid certification.
Must be completed within first 90 days of employment.
