Job Description

Provides training to residential consumers in the activities of daily living skills and on an individual and small group basis.  Implements individual goals and services recommended by the treatment team, according to methods, time frames, outlined by Residential Habilitation Plans.  Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain a residential environment that promotes the well being of residents and the protection of their individuals rights, while ensuring individualized services.  Remains awake and on duty throughout the night.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience.  Will be required to obtain and maintain Medication Certification.

Job Description

Job Description

Supports the development, implementation and on-going operations and monitoring of Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), desktop systems and other technological solutions to securely and effectively meet the information systems needs of the Agency.  Offers level 2 support to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered by Agency users of various servers, network connectivity and equipment, remote connectivity, desktop systems, Internet and other computer technology.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in computer related field preferred with at least two (2) years of experience providing Level Two technical desktop and network support in a multi-platform environment for small to medium sized companies.(Or equivalent of education and experience).

Additional Information

Skills

Network performance tuning, LAN/WAN knowledge, network design and implementation, problem solving, quality focus, technical understanding. Good communication and organizational skills required.

          Experience in administration of Microsoft networking environments.  Experience in VMWare virtualized SAN network environments preferred.  CompTIA Network+ certification desired.  Experience supporting enterprise systems in a health care or managed care environment a plus.

Job Description

Researches needs; designs and implements an agency wide program which enhances the quality of life for those persons served by Ontario ARC who are aging.  Serves as a resource for staff and families regarding aging services.  Responsible for the implementation and coordination of all senior services, oriented toward maximizing the physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual development and functioning of participants in residential, community and day hab services.  Develops policies and procedures related to aging services which maintain an environment that promotes the well being of program participants and supports their ability to “age in place” with dignity. 

 

Researches most current information, develops curriculums and provides staff training on aging and wellness related topics

 

Job Requirements

Current NYS License to practice as a Registered Nurse or Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Psychology or Social Work with experience in Gerontology and individuals with developmental disabilities.  Over five (5) years of experience performing or participating in assessments and treatment planning for developmentally disabled or other patient populations.
