VOCATIONAL COORDINATOR Will be a lead role in vocational planning, training, documentation, referral and advocacy for Abbey Industries participants assigned to their caseload. Will also require assisting in Food Service. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and one (1) year relevant experience or equivalent amount of education and or/ experience. Starting pay range $9.64-$11.44. Employment Specialist GENERAL DESCRIPTION: To provide work and personal adjustment services for individuals participating in Abbey Industries' Supported Employment Program. Provision and documentation of job coaching, counseling, case management and employer contact.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's degree in Health, Human Services or a related field. Over three years of work experience, preferably in working with disabled people or training of others, with one year of this experience to include assessment and service plan development. SERVICE COORDINATOR Help people learn to help themselves. Assist people in making informed choices and help them obtain benefits to which they are entitled. Identify needed services and provide follow up. Full time, competitive pay rates and excellent benefit package. MUST HAVE relevant (Human Services) degree, one year experience, proven organizational skills and demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills. COMMUNITY HABITLITATION COORDINATOR Develops and oversees program plans for individuals with disabilities served in a Community habilitation setting. BA/BS Degree in Psychology, or related Human Services field. Over one year experience working with developmental disabilities. Starting rate, $10.88-$13.19. Excellent benefit package.
SKILLS INSTRUCTORS Provides training to residential consumers in the activities of daily living skills on an individual and small group basis. Implements individual goals and services recommended by the treatment team, according to methods, time frames, outlined by the Manager. HS diploma and one (1) year experience or equivalent, performing or participating in assessments and service planning for individuals with developmental disabilities. PROGRAM SUBSTITUTES Replaces FT residential staff on an as needed basis. Provides supervision and assistance to residential consumers on an individual or small group basis. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain a residential environment that promotes the well being and safety of residents the protection of their individual rights, and the provision of individualized services.
